My Payment Was Declined: Troubleshooting Your Muscle Charge Subscription

Smooth Payments, Happy Journeys: Your Guide to Payment Support

Written by Myca

We want to get you started on your strength and mobility journey as quickly as possible! If you encountered a "Payment Declined" message while trying to join Muscle Charge, don’t worry—this is usually a quick fix.

Here is how to troubleshoot the most common payment hiccups so we can get you moving.

Accepted Payment Methods

To make things as seamless as possible, we currently accept:

  • Website Purchases: All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal.

  • In-App Purchases: Any payment method linked to your Apple ID or Google Play Store account (including gift cards and mobile billing).

Why was my payment declined?

If your transaction didn't go through, here is the best way to handle it based on how you’re signing up:

1. If you're paying on our website:

  • Verify Your Details: Double-check your card number, expiration date, and that 3-digit CVV code on the back.

  • Try PayPal: If your bank is blocking a direct card entry, switching to PayPal often bypasses the issue.

  • Call Your Bank: Sometimes banks flag new fitness subscriptions as a "security precaution." A 2-minute call to authorize the charge usually clears this right up!

2. If you're paying via App Store or Google Play:

  • Check Your Store Account: Your payment is handled by Apple or Google, not us directly. Check your "Payments & Shipping" settings in your phone's ID menu to ensure your default card isn't expired.

  • Insufficient Funds: Ensure your linked account or store balance has enough to cover the subscription.

We’re Here to Help!

If you’ve tried the steps above and are still hitting a wall, our dedicated support team can look into the specific error code for you.

Important Security Note: To protect your privacy, never send your full card number or CVV via email. We will never ask for your full payment details!
